Swiss parliamentary panel votes to ease arms exports rules 

A parliamentary committee in Switzerland has passed two draft motions that would ease the re-export of Swiss-made military materiel, including to Ukraine, after months of refusing to compromise on the country’s constitutional ban on the export or re-export of arms to conflict zones.

On 11 May, the Security Policy Committee passed two motions, the government’s Swissinfo news portal reported.
