Since US Customs and Border Protection (“CBP”) began enforcing the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (“UFLPA”) in June 2022, agents have detained more than 8,100 shipments and subjected them to UFLPA reviews and enforcement actions.1 Almost 20% of those shipments are still under review; 40% were ultimately denied entry into the US and seized.2
