Russia and Iran agree to cooperate to “counteract” unilateral sanctions

Russia and Iran have agreed to cooperate against unilateral sanctions imposed on them. The agreement took place during a visit by Vladimir Putin to Tehran, part of whistlestop tour that also included the two other regional heavyweights, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
