At the end of March, the US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”) announced it was targeting “sanctions evasion networks” and Russian technology companies for their role in helping Russia’s military gain access to both finances and critical information: “OFAC is designating 21 entities and 13 individuals as part of its crackdown on the Kremlin’s sanctions evasion networks and technology companies, which are instrumental to the Russian Federation’s war machine.”
