What led you to export controls?
Chance! I was working at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in The Hague, in a role within the Registry where I assisted the victims and witnesses of war crimes to obtain the necessary travel documents and transport in order to testify before the Tribunal and return home safely.
