What led you to focus on international trade law and compliance?
I was a huge international affairs nerd in college, writing papers on peacekeeping reform, the legality of drone strikes, and the use of private military contractors. My “dream” job was to work as a peacekeeping reform lawyer at the UN’s Department of Peace Operations (then DPKO).
