What led you to export controls?
I started off as a truck driver to pay for college. I studied physical therapy and was also working two 12-hour shifts at the local hospital as a therapist. The AIDS epidemic was devastating our community when I graduated and virtually all of my patients died. I stayed in trucking because no one died. I eventually moved up to dispatch and to bigger, international companies when Hewlett Packard recruited me and the rest is history.
