DDTC to increase ITAR fees
The Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (“DDTC”) is to move forward with a proposed rule on increasing registration fees for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”). Registration is “primarily a means to provide the U.S. Government with necessary information on who is involved in certain ITAR controlled activities.” The new fees will be implemented at the end of June to keep pace with “the costs of licensing, compliance and other activities.”
