MOFCOM sanctions US companies
China’s Ministry of Commerce (“MOFCOM”) put US defense contractors Lockheed Martin and Raytheon Missiles and Defense on the “Unreliable Entities List” for their recent arms sales to Taiwan. Both companies are also required to pay fines of “twice the amount” of their sales to Taiwan and senior executives will be prohibited from entering and working in China.
