Recent years have seen the rate of updates and changes to trade compliance legislation increase enormously. Russia’s annexation of Crimea in 2014 triggered a flow of new controls, multiplying further with the invasion of February 2022. “National security” concerns are currently behind the raft of new controls and guidance put out by governments. Keeping on top of changes and developments in the area can be a huge task. Thankfully, there are resources that can help.
