US and allied semiconductor companies have shown no decline in innovation despite recent China export controls, according to analysis released by the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies (“CSIS”).
The findings come as global chip sales reached $166 billion in the third quarter of 2024, a 23.2% increase year-on-year, according to data released the same day by the US Semiconductor Industry Association.
