European Union adopts “Magnitsky” law

The European Union has announced  that it has “adopted a decision and a regulation establishing a global human rights sanctions regime” (in other words, a  law  consistent with the “Magnitsky’ legislation introduced in the United  States, Canada, United Kingdom and other countries – including some EU Member States.)
