The United States and the European Union have issued a joint statement underlining their mutual commitment to tackling some of the key issues facing the world today. The statement followed a summit in June at which leaders of the EU and the US met “to renew [their] Transatlantic partnership [and] set a Joint Transatlantic Agenda for the post-pandemic era.”
