German export control authority, BAFA says it has held productive outreach sessions with industry on the implementation of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act which comes into force in 2023.
As previously detailed in ECM, under the Act companies must set up processes to identify, assess, prevent and remedy human rights such as forced labor, child labour and discrimination, and environmental risks and impacts in their supply chains, and in their own operations and activities.
