The Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security (“BIS”) announced two significant settlement agreements. BIS collected a civil penalty from Alpha and Omega Semiconductor of $4.25 million for its exports to Huawei Technologies, and issued a three-year denial of export privileges to Unicat Catalyst Technologies, while the Office of Foreign Assets Control (“OFAC”) collected $391,183 from the company.
