The UK’s Export Control Joint Unit has amended 13 open general export licenses (“OGELs”) to exclude military nuclear power generating and nuclear power propulsion equipment from its Military List (“ML”) categories.
The changes remove military nuclear power generating and naval nuclear propulsion equipment under ML17g and ML9 control entries from the scope of eight OGELs, including those covering exports to India, technology transfers, exhibition items and components.
