The US and UK have sanctioned “seven Russian cyber criminals” in what the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (“FCDO”) called the “first wave of new coordinated action against international cyber crime”. The designated parties are Vitaliy Kovalev, Valery Sedletski, Valentin Karyagin, Maksim Mikhailov, Dmitry Pleshevskiy, Mikhail Iskritskiy and Ivan Vakhromeyev.
