On 30 January, the US-EU Trade and Technology Council (“TTC”) held its fifth ministerial meeting in Washington, DC. EU TTC co-chairs, European Commission Executive Vice Presidents Margrethe Vestager and Valdis Dombrovskis, joined US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, US Trade Representative Katherine Tai, along with other senior officials from both the EU and US to discuss priorities for both sides in relation to emerging and high-risk technologies.
