“Safe harbor” to incentivize disclosure of compliance issues in M&A

The US Department of Justice  is rolling out a mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) “safe harbor” policy, which incentivizes companies to voluntarily disclose, among other things, compliance-related misconduct identified during M&A.
