What led you to focus on international trade law?

In 1999, I was an International Law student at Sorbonne University and clerking for Macon, Georgia, law firms where I found my jobs by doing door-to-door interviews. Some friends I made there in Macon sent me to the big city of Atlanta, where I was lucky enough to find a position with the International Trade Department at Smith Gambrell & Russell LLP (“SGR”) under the supervision of Mr. Stefan Tiessen.
