Canada: New sanctions on Russia
The Canadian government has issued new sanctions targeting Russia that include 76 companies and individuals. It also took action against Russia’s “shadow fleet”, sanctioning 109 vessels based on connections to Russian individuals or shipping locations in Russia. The new measures update the Restricted Goods and Technologies List to align with similar measures implemented by the EU, UK and US.
