On September 29, Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry announced it had revised its Foreign User List to include 835 entities across 15 countries and regions, an increase of 87 organizations.
The ministry described the update as based on “the latest information” about proliferation concerns. The updated list, which took effect October 9, shows more than 120 companies from China.
