Consultant charged with violating Iran sanctions under IEEPA

Farhad Nafeiy, a 70-year-old telecommunications consultant from California, was charged with and pleaded guilty to a violation of the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (“IEEPA”) by exporting US-origin products to Iran and providing services to it.
